What does Thornado Communications do?
We’re an independent marketing and content agency in Kuala Lumpur. We handle social media management, copywriting, marketing consultation, branding, media management, public relations and special events, with content at the heart of all of it.
Where are you based?
Our office is at L02.04, Level 2, KL Gateway Mall, Kerinchi, Kuala Lumpur. We work with brands in Malaysia and beyond.
What kinds of brands do you work with?
Startups, scale-ups and household names. We’ve worked with 50+ brands across 20 industries, including F&B, health, finance, property, manufacturing, NGOs and tech.
Are you a performance marketing agency?
No. We’re a content and communications agency. We focus on the work that builds a brand over time: strategy, content, social media, PR and events.
What does social media management include?
We plan, create and run your social media, from monthly content calendars to visuals, captions and community management.
Can you help with branding or a rebrand?
Yes. We build brand strategy, logos, visual identity and guidelines, then roll the new look out across your content.
Do you handle PR and events too?
Yes. We write press releases, pitch to media and secure launch coverage. We also plan, promote and run events, from launches to weekly mall activations, then turn them into content.
Can you work as an extension of our in-house team?
That’s how we like to work. You know your business best. We fit in, fill the gaps and stick around until we feel like part of the team.
How do we get started?
Message us on WhatsApp or email hello@thornado.com.my and tell us a little about your brand. We’ll set up a chat, learn what you need, then come back with a plan.

What we collect
When you contact us by WhatsApp, email or phone, we receive the details you share: usually your name, phone number, email, company and what you’d like to talk about.
Why we use it
To reply to you, send our company profile, prepare proposals, and work with you if we become partners. We won’t add you to a mailing list without asking.
Who sees it
Only our team. We never sell your details. They pass through the services we use to talk to you, such as WhatsApp and email, and we’ll share them with authorities only if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Only as long as we need it for the reasons above, or as long as the law asks us to.
